Gavin Elias Reed born October 7th, 2002, to teen unwed parents and a broken home. His parents David reed and Jenna Martin were only 18 at the time of his birth. Father a drug addict and his mother a party addict. The next 17 years of his life was spent living with his grandmother. A strict catholic take no nonsense lady. at the time of his birth his tiny frame was in withdrawal of the red substance his mother took during the pregnancy. Known as red iceGrowing up Gavin was a menace to the neighborhood kids. Would pull awful pranks and get into a lot of trouble in school. Which is the reason he never had many friends and into his adulthood. His home life wasn't that easy either. He watched as men came and went throughout his life. Not once did his birth parents ever visit until Gavin 11th birthday. His father visits and introduces him to 16-year-old Elijah. His half-brother and one behind the android ideas. He was angry child due to not feeling wanted or enough. He took out his aggression on people or as he got older on androids who couldn't fight back. He and Elijah are five years apart.Around Gavin teen years is when he realized that something wrong with himself. While boys his age ran around after girls. His eyes wandered to males a bit more than it did to females. he knew that if his grandmother found out. She either send him away somewhere for those thoughts or the Catholic church would find out. he kept his sexual urges to himself. Until his life changed when an early android model created by his brother Elijah and the one behind cyberlife.Gavin relationship with Elijah is a nonexistent one because he wants nothing to do with him. A brother that grew up with parents. A father he never had a relationship with nor cares that Gavin existed. Which is the reason for the way Gavin is. A confused, lost and angry man.During the end of middle school is when Gavin grandmother would bring home a personal assistance android. to help around the messy small three-bedroom home. That Gavin father grew up in. Another cycle of broken homes. RT600 first models created by cyberlife to help elderly in the home. At first, he was uneasy about Kyle but eventually came to accept him. realizing that someone actually saw him and cared about him. Oh, how so naive he was.Towards the middle of high school sophomore year Gavin life would change forever. RT600 Android model named Kyle who Gavin was having a secret nonsexual relationship with behind his grandmother back. Accidentally caused her death. She was elderly close to 70 years old. Wrong medicine dosage was given due to a glitch. Which found in earlier models caused problems. Gavin upon finding this out, hunted the model down before cyberlife could arrest Kyle. And shredded him to pieces or resetLast time he saw his sperm donor and half-brother was at his granny funeral. he was 17 at the time. He caused a scene for the reason for them being there. Soon after Gavin was placed into different foster homes until running away, joining a gang, stealing and taking drugs. Nearly dying on the streets is when he saved by hank Anderson. He goes to a rehab facility for a while then released into hank and Lilian care. Gavin gets his GED and turns his life around at the age of 20.Gavin slept around but made sure no one knew about his sexuality. At some point realizing he demisexual. He didn't want the police department to know or any one he worked for. He would secretly visit gay bar or strip clubs in different cities outside of Detroit. So quelch his sexual needs. He still a bachelor to this day and he fine with that.After graduating the police academy. Gavin went on to become a homicide detective for the central police station of Detroit. Working alongside his mentor hank and androids.Feb 2036- two days before gavin about to take his detective test. him and his cop partner adam wilson. were called out to a tip about suspicious people coming and going from abandoned structure. that once used to be a small shoe store.upon entering the building. Gavin and Adam confronted a group of teenagers making red ice. shit hit the fan. the place was rigged in case police showed up. evidence would be destroyed.that day Gavin lost an arm in the explosion. he also has a scar that goes across his nose to his cheek. he also lost his partner adam in the explosion. who was also gunned down.during this event is how he sort of formed a sibling relationship with elijah. his brother felt guilty and created an arm for him.to this day gavin can't bring himself to visit Emily and the two kids that adam left behind. every sept 14th, he goes to visit adam grave. a part of gavin feels that should have been him there not adam.he was out on medical leave for few months before fowler needed him back at the station. he was medically cleared take the detective test and he passed.Gavin became the godfather to hank son cole. He cared about the kid. he felt like he had a family for once that cared about him. unfortunately, all the came to a crashing stop literally. he, hank and cole went out bowling so celebrate Gavin birthday. The weather was raining by time they were heading home. A driver lost control due to the rain and ended up hitting hank car.Gavin blamed himself for that tragedy. He watched hank change, Lilian divorced hank and hank pushing him away. To this day Gavin has nightmares of cole death. And death of others he couldn't save. Even nightmares of what if he died on those Detroit streets.December 2039- gavin was partnered up with RK900. android found in the abandoned cyberlife building after the revolution. upon fowler instructions in order for gavin case numbers and completions to get more better. at first gavin tried all tactics to get the android removed. nothing worked so gavin started to get accustomed to the guy.relationships are difficult for gavin. past relationships were either abusive or did not work out due to problems. part of him is scared to open his heart up again. another part wants to find the right person.More come later on..

spent most of age 17 and half of age 18 going from foster home to foster home. until running away and living on the streets of detroit. he joined the detroit red dragons' gang for a short while.he experimented with drugs. dropped out of high school. got arrested but bailed out by his brother elijah.gavin shot some people who were part of rival gangs. he got beat up and shot at few times. that what made him realize that he needed to get out. he wasn't cut out for that type of life.he got shot in the shoulder for attempting to leave. he was left to die in the snow. if it weren't for hank anderson driving in that area. at that exact moment.
